La nostra società, che ha sede a Verona nell’area del lago di Garda in nord Italia, ha investito in Egitto acquistando un terreno di più di trenta ettari all’ingresso del parco nazionale Wadi el Gemal a sud di Marsa Alam sul quale abbiamo costruito il Gorgonia Beach Resort inaugurato il 8 agosto 2008 che gestiamo direttamente.
Abbiamo voluto creare un albergo molto ampio (ogni ospite ha a disposizione più di 600 metri quadrati) per dare ai nostri ospiti la possibilità di godere il reef e la natura incontaminata circostante. Il nostro simbolo è la Gorgonia, un tipo di corallo, scelto per rappresentare la nostra cura e il nostro interesse alla preservazione dell’ambiente e alla sostenibilità.
Essendo noi italiani abbiamo poi dato in tutto quanto un’impronta del nostro stile e gusto che abbiamo mescolato con lo stile egiziano.
Molti sono gli ospiti che ritornano anno dopo anno e anche più volte durante l’anno come sono tanti gli impiegati che collaborano con noi da tanti anni, molti dall’apertura.
Abbiamo ricevuto diverse certificazioni internazionali a riconoscimento della qualità alberghiera e per le iniziative ambientali da noi intraprese.
